Voor het Amsterdam Tulip Museum heb ik in de winter van 2011-2012, twee ‘maquettes’ gemaakt.
De een van een stukje van het Topkapi paleis in Istanbul en de ander van de Clusiustuin in de hortus van Leiden, zoals dat er begin 17e eeuw uitzag.
In het ATM wordt de geschiedenis getoond van de tulpenhandel en -manie in Amsterdam. Mijn twee beelden dienen als drie dimensionale verbeelding van twee voor deze geschiedenis belangrijke locaties.

In the winter of 2011-2012, I made two ‘models’ for the Amsterdam Tulip Museum.
One of a piece of the Topkape Palace in Istanbul and the other of the Clusius garden in the hortus of Leiden, as it looked at the beginning of the 17th century.
The ATM shows the history of the tulip trade and mania in Amsterdam. My two images serve as a three-dimensional representation of two locations that are important to this history.
